Spend your holidays with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra!

The holiday season is both frenetic and an opportunity to bask in what music does best-creating a mood. We can't do much about the frenetic part of holiday shopping, writing cards, gathering family, traveling, or the usual tensions of a busy season, but we can create a mood; many moods in fact. Whether your favorite holiday music is sacred or secular or a mix of the two, we've got it all. Our two trademark long running events that feature our magnificent Orchestra, and our equally glorious Chorus, return this year with the kind of regularity kids expect from a visit with Santa!

Christmas with the ASO and our Messiah performances are conducted by the ASO's master of choral music Norman Mackenzie. Christmas with the ASO, a tradition begun by Robert Shaw, continues to provide both celebratory and contemplative music for the spirit. For two concerts on December 13 and 14, the beloved Christmas portion of Messiah is paired this year with Bach's Magnificat. And yes, the concert WILL end with the "Hallelujah!" Chorus. Feel free to stand and sing along!

There 's something for all ages including A Festive Family Holiday, Christmas with the ASO, A Very Merry Holiday and Messiah. And don't forget our other performances including a Movies in Concert screening of Love Actually, and popular artists with the ASO including Martina McBride, Michael W. Smith and Celtic Woman.

Start a new tradition and fill your heart with the sounds of the season.
