ASO Concertmaster David Coucheron shines in an early Mozart offering, the Third Violin Concerto. Written in the composer's prodigious late teens, the dance-like concerto is a delightful display of Mozart's budding genius. Under the baton of conductor Nathalie Stutzmann, the evening also features Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 2, one of the composer's most exuberant works. The concert opens with an orchestral setting of Antonín Dvořák's Slavonic Dances, music inspired by Bohemian folk music that was originally composed for piano four-hands.

Pre-Concert Chamber Recital
Thursday evening includes a pre-concert chamber music recital at 6:45 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall. Free for all ticket holders of the Feb. 4 and 6, 2021 concerts.
