After last year's hit performance at Cadance Bank Amphitheatre, Maxwell will bring "A Night at the Symphony" to Atlanta for two nights at Symphony Hall. The iconic soul singer will once again perform with the world-class musicians of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra along with veterans of his longtime band, this time in an even more intimate atmosphere. Maxwell, who is known for his meticulous attention to detail in his music, will present newly arranged compositions from his vast catalog of songs on October 2 and 3, 2020. Tickets for both shows will become available Friday, February 28 at noon at Ticketmaster and the Woodruff Arts Center Box Office.

The iconic musician claims, "Never in my wildest dreams did I think that what started when I was 16 years old would take me to such a prestigious experience… It's my greatest joy to announce that I will be playing songs from my catalog which I'm re-arranging for your symphonic pleasure."

Maxwell will take the stage with his creative partner Hod David and other members of his band. The Brooklyn native will perform re-imagined orchestral versions of songs from his hit-filled career, including thirteen #1 R&B chart-toppers, ranging from "Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder)" and "Sumthin' Sumthin" to "Pretty Wings" and the recent "Lake by the Ocean."

*Please be advised that the Maxwell: A Night at the Symphony with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra show will be a phone-free experience. Please arrive on time for the event. Per the performers' request, no cell phones, smart watches, cameras, or recording devices will be permitted at Atlanta Symphony Hall.
