Since its founding in 1945, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has grown into an international force in music-making, providing an endless source of inspiration to Atlantans while exporting our city's uniqueness to communities around the globe. During the 2019-20 season, there is much to celebrate: it is the 250th anniversary of the birth of Beethoven, and it is our 75th anniversary season.

In recognition of this major milestone in the life of the Orchestra, the ASO brings to New York's Carnegie Hall one of the most profound works in the choral literature: Beethoven's Missa solemnis.
