Paul Warner

Paul Warner

Cellist Paul Warner has been a member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) since 1970.

Warner appears frequently as a soloist and chamber musician; his community service serves as a platform to promote the ASO.

A Peabody Conservatory graduate, he was awarded a full scholarship for studies with Paul Olefsky. After graduation, Warner played in the Rococo Company, a quintet comprised of soprano, violin, flute, harpsichord, and cello.

Warner plays a cello made for him at the turn of the century by Giovanni Lazzaro in Padua, Italy.  Most notable recent performance of the Beethoven Triple Concerto in North Georgia was with fellow soloists You Ju Lee and Andrew Zaplatynsky in March 2017.
