Larry LeMaster

Larry Lemaster

Mr. LeMaster is an honors graduate of Michigan State University, where he majored in performance, while simultaneously serving as Principal Cello of the Lansing (MI) Symphony.

After graduation he served for three years in the U.S. Army, attached to the band at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY. After his tour of duty, he won a one-year position in the ASO, and 6 months later was awarded tenure by Robert Shaw, and a permanent chair was created for him in the section. He is thrilled to have the honor of living his dream by playing in a world-class orchestra.

Mr. LeMaster lives in NW Atlanta, and is the proud owner of an 18th century Venetian cello built when Beethoven was still a toddler.
