You’ve never heard (or seen) anything like this on the Symphony Hall stage! Carpenter, a dashing, über-talented young organist, brings a new vibrancy with his International Touring Organ. For the first time, grand pipe organ music will be in Symphony Hall! Enjoy three concerts with the ASO, plus one special solo recital on Friday night, with an entirely different program!

David Coucheron Plays Bruch Violin Concerto

Feb. 5 and 7

Concertmaster David Coucheron performs Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1, which highlights his amazing technical skill and masterful interpretation of the emotion behind the work. Dvořák’s Eighth Symphony and Gould’s Spirituals for Strings round out the evening of uplifting and exciting programming led by guest conductor Tito Muñoz.

Cameron Carpenter Joins Pre-Concert Lecture

The ASO offers free concert previews before each Thursday classical subscription concert. Hosted by ASO Insider and Program Annotator Ken Meltzer, these previews offer an informative and entertaining look at the music included in the concert program. This week he is joined by organist Cameron Carpenter.  Come to listen and learn more about the International Touring Organ before the concert performance.  Open to all ticket holders, the talks are in Symphony Hall from 7:00 – 7:30pm.
