Guest Artist Master Classes

In ASO Guest Artist Master Class Series, young performers work one-on-one with today's leading musicians. These master classes afford students and audiences a glimpse into the rarefied world of musical artistry through guest artists and the Grammy Award-winning ASO principal musicians. Select students perform in the classes and the public is invited to observe, free of charge.

Check this site often for regularly updated schedules of guest artist master classes that are open to the public. Classes are often arranged on short notice as artists become available, and details are subject to change pending the rehearsal and performance schedules of the musicians. For further information, contact Mariel Reynolds, ASO Community Catalyst at 404.733.4734.

In-School Master Classes

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra also offers a program of In-School Master Classes that allow high school and middle school orchestra teachers to design a program utilizing the expertise of ASO musicians. ASO players visit the individual classrooms and demonstrate instrument techniques, coach a variety of music, provide on-site sectional rehearsals, participate in panel discussions, or give small ensemble concerts.

Limited spaces are available and will be  filled on a first come, first serve basis.
