Horn
Bruce Kenney joined the Atlanta Symphony as fourth horn in 1985. He has served on the Executive Committee of the ASO Players' Association since 1997, and is active in various cross-constituent planning groups behind the scenes at the ASO. His horn studies were at the University of Houston and the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University. Prior to the ASO, he performed with the Houston Ballet Orchestra, the Houston Grand Opera, the Texas Chamber Orchestra, and the Texas Opera Theater, positions which included extensive touring in the US and Canada.
Bruce is also an avid guitarist, with interest in all styles, and has served in that capacity in ASO Pops, Parks, Gospel, and Classical concerts.
