Saturday, June 3, 2017 8:00 PM

The "Four Sea Interludes" from Benjamin Britten's tragic opera, Peter Grimes, are the British composer's evocative portraits of the sea's infinite mystery, beauty and violence. The 2016-17 season concludes with the electrifying First Act from Richard Wagner's grand opera Die Walküre. The hero Siegmund braves a violent storm, and finds himself reunited with his beloved Sieglinde. The First Act concludes with one of the most beautiful and thrilling love duets in all of opera. The perfect way to close a spectacular season!

Thursday evening includes a pre-concert chamber music recital at 6:45 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall. Free for all ticket holders for the June 1 and 3, 2017, concerts.
