American composer Jonathan Leshnoff's orchestral work, Zohar, is a musical exploration of the wonders and beauties of Jewish mysticism. The German Requiem, scored for soprano and baritone solo, chorus and orchestra, contains music of unsurpassed beauty and humanity.

Pre-Concert Lecture on Thursday, April 14, at 7pm
Orchestra Insider and Program Annotator Ken Meltzer will present a FREE pre-concert lecture at 7pm in the Circle Room at the Woodruff Arts Center. He'll be discussing Brahms' A German Requiem and Robert Shaw. Open to all weekend ticket holders.
