Petrushka is the tale of a puppet who after being murdered by his rival, returns to haunt his master, and one of Stravinsky's orchestral masterpieces. The Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto maintains its status as one of the most beautiful, thrilling and beloved works in the repertoire. This concert features a kaleidoscopic transcription of Islamey for full orchestra by Sergei Lyapunov.

Pre-Concert Lecture on Thursday, February 18, 7pm
Orchestra Insider and Program Annotator Ken Meltzer will present a pre-concert lecture at 7pm on the Symphony Hall stage. Open to all weekend ticket holders.
