The program concludes with one of Richard Strauss’ most popular orchestral tone poems, Till Eulenspiegel.

Pre-Concert Lecture on Thursday at 7pm
Orchestra Insider and Program Annotator Ken Meltzer will present a pre-concert lecture at 7pm on the Symphony Hall stage. He'll be speaking with special guest Michael Kurth about his new work, A Thousand Words, his career with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and of course answering any questions from the audience. Open to all weekend ticket holders.

Dedicated to the Memory of Carl David Hall
We mourn the loss of our longtime Principal Piccolo and Flute player, Carl David Hall, who died on February 2, 2016, after a long and valiant battle with cancer. These concerts are dedicated to Carl's memory with a performance of the Air from Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major. Read More
