In celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the ASO and its collaborative partners present an internationally broadcast concert that highlights the musical contributions of African-American artists and compositions which reflect the African-American experience. Wynton Marsalis’s new symphonic work, Blues Symphony, celebrating the blues through the prism of different moments in American history, will be presented on the program.
