Sat, Feb 21, 2009 | 8:00 PM
Sun, Feb 22, 2009 | 3:00 PM
The colorful and magnetic Ms. Salerno-Sonnenberg is a soloist unlike any other. She engages a treasure in Mendelssohn's most popular and most frequently performed work. Tchaikovsky's dramatic and passionate Fifth Symphony soars under ASO Assistant Conductor/League of American Orchestras Conducting Fellow Ms. Chen, an ebullient and focused maestro making her Classical Season debut. Ms. Salerno-Sonnenberg will autograph her CDs during intermission outside of Symphony Hall.

Advisory to Sunday Concertgoers:
WAC campus expecting large attendance on Sunday afternoon. Arrive early - advance parking available.

As a result of near-capacity attendance expected at Sunday's concert and a sellout crowd throughout the day at the High Museum of Art, ASO ticketholders should allow themselves extra time in getting to the Woodruff Arts Center. Please note that the Arts Center Garage is already full due to the large turnout; make advance reservations now for valet parking and the lots at Colony Square and the Promenade II building. Details and directions as well as updates on lane closures on 14th Street at woodruffcenter.org.
